It’s winter. A snowy small town in the mountains. Two couples between exhaustion and departure in a small villa, whose fate crosses with that of a mountain farmer through a mysterious accident. Anything can happen in this wintry limbo: love, sex, death. In the end, nothing will ever be the same again….
Tom Tykwer (The Deadly Maria) has made a film about landscapes and emotions that plays virtuously with genres: Thriller, melodrama and love story.
