Five young people who have become suspended in a state of eternal summer vacation. Left alone, Tubbie, Tim, Jojo, Birdie and the girl Marie form a surrogate family. Aimless, longing and hungry like wild dogs, they roam through an anonymous big city. In the shimmering summer heat, they experience fleeting moments of happiness together once again.
